Our general English course

General English is the great course for students who want to advance their general English skills. This includes reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and vocabulary. Our General English courses are suitable for students over the age of 18 who would like to progress their use of English. Students can do this whilst living, studying or working in the United Kingdom.

Our teachers care about your development. When you turn up, you take a test and you are put into the correct level. On the first day, you will present your aims and targets with the Director of Studies. You will do a review test every week, and scrutinize your improvement with your teacher.

General English improvement strategy

If you would like to focus on specific areas to progress, you can combine your general English classes with our one-to-one class. One-to-one classes are customized and can be very functional. You can choose your one-to-one class and prioritise them based on the needs recognized by you and your teacher. Therefore, if you feel that your articulation is a weakness, you can add a Pronunciation Booster to your Standard course to help you progress in this area.

Our one-to-one classes are offered every day. You can choose one or two one-to-one classes to help you thrive in achieving your goal and gathering your needs rapidly and successfully.

You can study more intensively and merge General English with other courses such as Business English or Exam Preparation courses. Or, if you prefer to unwind a little you can join our General English Courses with a Creative workshop which will allow you to apply the vocabulary you learn outside of the classroom.
